I´d like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself, my priorities in life and my family. I grew up in Tucson, AZ in a large family with 4 sisters! That´s when I first became acquainted with sharing and patience (esp. with bathroom time)! I then graduated with a Marketing degree from the University Of Arizona and a Project Management Masters Certificate from George Washington University. I spent 20 years, mainly in the Phoenix area, in the Hi-Tech Corporate World. I held management positions in Planning, Customer Service, Purchasing, Materiel Management as well as Managing Engineering and Manufacturing Groups and as Senior Project Manager with Fortune 500 Companies requiring a lot of worldwide travel.
After 20 years of corporate, much time away from home in travel, big city living, and long commutes, I, along with my family, decided it was time for a change of lifestyle.
For a number of years we owned a cabin in the Pinetop/Lakeside area and really enjoyed our time here on weekends and during the summer. So when we sat down to discuss where to live and what career to pursue, we favored living up in Pinetop, where we already knew we loved it and knew a lot about the area.
Within a month we transitioned to Pinetop, leaving a population of 5 million people in Phoenix to less than 10,000, welcoming fresh clean air and a more peaceful lifestyle and beautiful atmosphere. Once settled, I was drawn to Real Estate in the White Mountains, because I and my family have an interest in how this community grows and in being in the service industry helping people.
My wife, Janet, and I have 3 children and 2 dogs. Our oldest daughter, Michelle, is at ASU and our two younger children, Mary and Jack, are at Blue Ridge Public School in Pinetop/Lakeside. We are very happy with the school system in Pinetop and love all the small community activities and sports our children are able to participate in. My daughter, Mary and I, achieved our conditional black belt in Tae Kwan Do.
Living in the 4 seasons is a welcome change for us especially since we love snow skiing as well as warm weather sports. This area offers the best snow skiing in AZ within 30 minutes. We never had dogs before moving up here and now we just love going hiking with them and taking them everywhere with us.
My priorities in life are to take loving care of my family, be honest and caring toward everyone I meet, be faith-driven and make a positive difference in people´s lives. I am at a point in my life where I must be doing what I like and enjoy!
Perhaps what sets me apart from others is that I am very conscientious, hold myself accountable to high standards and genuinely want to do my best for my clients. Follow-up and being available are important to me and I know to my clients and my integrity. I can offer a lot to my clients including knowledge of this area, patience, and the desire to do what is best for my client. I strive to have a very pleasant business relationship. |
